Role Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a dedicated English and Humanities teacher to join our amazing team at Gilson College, Mernda campus. This is a part-time teaching position, open to graduates, commencing Term 1, 2024.

The focus of the Classroom Teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The Classroom Teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of programs. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching. The Classroom Teacher utilizes critical reflection to improve their own knowledge and skills to engage students and improve their learning.
