Role Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade 1 teacher to join the supportive and enthusiastic team at Gilson College, Mernda. There are full-time and permanent positions available, which are also open to graduates, and commence Term 1, 2024.

The focus of the Classroom Teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The Classroom Teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of programs. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching. The Classroom Teacher utilizes critical reflection to improve their own knowledge and skills to engage students and improve their learning.
