Services
Our school offers a variety of services that supports our student experience and our wider community. We currently offer a school canteen, uniform shop and OSHC after-school care.
Canteen
The College canteen provides an excellent range of food that is both healthy and tasty. Currently, the canteen runs 3 days per week; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All food served at the canteen is vegetarian.
Uniforms
Gilson College students have a reputation for maintaining a dress code with a high standard. We are pleased to offer our families multiple ways to purchase academic and sports uniforms. Click through to find out more.
Out of School Hours Care
Gilson offers before and after-hours care for those parents who need more flexible hours picking up or dropping off children. The school also provides a study centre program that allows Secondary students to have a place where they can study in a quiet environment with access to study resources.

Private Instrumental Tuition
Gilson College Mernda provides access to private instrumental tuition via Whittlesea Music School. They offer tuition in: acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, drum kit, vocals, violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, viola, cello, double bass, trombone, tuba, euphonium and flugel horn.
